I truly believe music, art, and any form of creative expression are the most important things in the world. Art has the ability to change and shape our ways of thinking and feeling. It allows us to escape, feel empowered, and share that power with each other. I feel honored to have the opportunity to do what I love and pursue my dreams.
Let's do this!
I have loved performing ever since I can remember. I remember being in kindergarten and spending hours making up songs and recording them on my cassette. I would religiously watch my VHS of the Original Broadway production of Into the Woods, write plays, or memorize the newest Britney Spears choreography. There was never a time I wasn't completely immersed in performing and creating. When I was 6 years old, I started performing at my local community theatre and began working in musical theatre professionally at the age of 15. At 19, I decided to take a trip to New York City to dip my toes in the Big Apple theatre scene! After about two months of callbacks, I booked the national tour of Kinky Boots and toured the country for about a year. It was such an incredible adventure that I look back at as one of the best years of my life so far. Acting, storytelling, and theatre have always been a huge passion of mine, and I can't wait to continue pursuing that dream.
Fast forward to April 2020, when I was contacted by casting at The Voice. After months of video auditions and interviews, I got the call in August that they wanted to bring me to LA to audition on the BIG stage in front of the celebrity coaches in hopes of getting the opportunity to be mentored by either Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas, John Legend, or Blake Shelton. I joined Nick Jonas' team--and the rest is history!
